The demolition of the scaffolding in the church space has begun. For this reason, from 30^th October 2025, the place under the dome will be closed for tourists on weekdays.
The Shop of devotional objects, the Treasury and the Panorama Café will remain accessible through a side corridor.
Works will be suspended on weekends, so the area under the dome will also be open to the public.
This is expected to last until 30^th November 2025.
