Groups arriving with a guide are required to pay a guide service fee. The amount of the fee depends on the size of the group:

For groups of 1-10 people, 3000.- HUF/Guide/group
For groups of 11 - 25 people, 5000.- HUF / Guide / group
For groups of 26 - 50 people, 8000.- HUF/ Guide / group

Without paying the fee, guided tours in the church cannot be made.

A group employing a tour guide is exempt from paying the fee, if the group the whole of which buys one of our ticket types (Treasury; Combined). About ticket prices here. 

Guiding inside Esztergom Basilica is only possible with an internal permit, if the group is bigger than 10 person, then using a tour-guide system is required.

Internal authorisation can be obtained through training.

      

 

If the group doesn't have own  tour-guide devices, they can rent it from us upon prior notice at the following cost:
