Panorama View-Hall
The imposing square on the second floor on the western side of the Basilica facing the Danube is named after its huge, semicircular window offering a magnificent view. Originally, the area was intended as a connecting corridor between the southern and northern palace wings. Since the palace was not built here, first an archival warehouse was set up in the three-part hall, more recently a café and temporary exhibitions await visitors here.
