The sacrament of Baptism unites us not only with Christ, but also with the visible "mysterious body" of the Church. The usual place of baptism is therefore the locally responsible parish. If non-members of the cathedral apply for baptism, this must be justified in each case.
Before the baptism, a personal conversation takes place, to which parents and, if possible, godparents are invited. The date will be coordinated with the administrator. The meeting provides an opportunity to meet in person, prepare and review the course of the ceremony.
